Company President Chad Boersma has a unique background. Not only has he spent most of his life around the tool, die and machining industry, but he has also served four years in the USMC. Chad brought those two traits together to start Eagle Industrial Group Federal, LLC (EIGF), a business within the TSG that provides contract machining and part production while utilizing the TSG’s capabilities to solve defense sustainment issues.
Focus
As a SDVOSB, EIGF builds part solutions for government, defense, and municipal needs. In association with the Tooling Systems Group, EIGF offers:
- contract machining
- low-volume part production
- automation equipment and assembly centers
- control panel build and service
- stamping and mold tooling
- part and tooling re-engineering
- tooling service and repair
- hot rolled steel plate products
- welded assemblies
Bringing the TSG and government together
Working closely with government, defense and supply contractors, and government OEMs, EIGF marries the capabilities of the TSG to satisfy their part sustainment needs by:
- Taking in government part contracting projects that are in need of a producer.
- Breaking down the project into manageable processes.
- Giving a process to the appropriate TSG company for quotation and production.
- Serving as project manager over the project, making sure the entire process meets the contractor’s specifications.
- Relays information and is the point of contact between the TSG and the part contractor.
