Steel Craft Technologies (Steel Craft) has become one of the largest distributors of hot rolled steel plate in the Midwest.

Focus

Steel Craft is a manufacturer of hot rolled steel plate products.

  • Large, heavy-duty steel fabrications and welded assemblies
    • Fully machined and assembled die sets or packaged die kits
    • Extra large fabrications of welded, stress relieved and fully machined steel

    Hot Rolled Steel Plate Products

When applications call for heavy-duty components, we answer back with our hot rolled steel plate. At Steel Craft, we flame cut and fabricate our different grades of steel plate in-house, which provides our clients with the right combination of strength, convenience, and price.

    • CNC burning tables (flame crafting raw steel plate into shapes)
    • Blanchard grinding
    • Sub arc welding
    • Heat treating and stress relieving oven
      • as well as preheating steel before welding (increasing weld penetration for a stronger hold)
    • Media blasting (for a clean, paintable surface)
    • Planing, drilling, taping and machining
    • Delivery trucks (for transport of raw and final products)

Our hot rolled steel fabrications go into:

    • earth moving and construction equipment.
    • alternative energy structures and components.
    • oil rigs and platforms.
    • military and defense projects.
    • concept, prototype and private use pieces.
    • other miscellaneous, industrial grade applications.
