Sustainable solutions for government initiatives

It takes a lot of work to keep our country running. The TSG is proud to be able to be a part of the answer to fulfilling government initiatives in:

  • Military / Defense
  • Infrastructure
  • Alternative and Domestic Energy

With the understanding and respect that funds for these government projects are being paid with tax payer dollars, we act as responsible stewards to make sure that these dollars are not applied more than necessary and work to keep our costs in check.

Military / Defense

There is forever a constant need for parts to keep the wheels for our warfighter turning. When OEMs decide not to make these parts anymore (by business strategy, or they just don’t exist anymore) and current suppliers get too comfortable and start raising their prices (on our tax dollars), this is where we come in.

Using our decades of part manufacturing experience in the automotive, appliance, heavy equipment, and other industrial fields, we can jump in and create those parts for new and legacy systems. Coupled with our experience, we can use our portable and stationary CMM machines to reverse-engineer parts that don’t have CAD data to aid in reproduction. And as noted above, we are forever vigilant to make sure that we can safely make a part without incurring excessive costs.

Infrastructure

Our citizens need a solid framework to keep the lights on, the water running, and the roads open to continue with our lives from day-to-day. While we may not be the muscle on the ground, we are the ones behind the OEM and supplier tools and components for earthmoving, construction and heavy duty vehicles that make these projects happen.

Alternative and Domestic Energy

As it became clearly evident in the summer of 2008, the USA is in desperate need to ramp up its solutions for energy to meet the needs of the present and future. From our stamping die companies, to our steel plate products, to our contract machining, the TSG supplies parts and structures that go into:

  • Wind turbines
  • Solar panels
  • Hydrogen and electric powered vehicles
  • Oil rigs and towers
