Since April of 1996, Engineered Tooling Systems, Inc. (ETS) has had a home in the Northwest corner of Grand Rapids, Michigan. As an ISO 9001:2015 corporation serving a global customer base in the automotive, appliance, and industrial part manufacturers, Engineered Tooling Systems has earned a reputation of building high quality tooling and dies that meet timing and budget requirements.

Our Focus

Engineered Tooling Systems designs, builds, re-engineers, and services small to large sized sheet metal stamping dies and tooling.

With several hundred dies under its belt, ETS has experience with:

  • Progressive, transfer, and line dies
  • Deep draws, complex extrusions, and over bends
  • Standard, sound deadening, heat shield, and heavy thickness materials
  • Integration into automated assembly lines

Also, Engineered Tooling Systems has the skill to keep dies running by:

  • Scheduling comprehensive die maintenance programs
  • Making the proper repairs when damage occurs
  • Modifying existing dies to reflect engineering changes

On-site Equipment and Staff

Engineered Tooling System’s 22,000 square foot facility allows for increased control over costs and timing, which is passed on to our customers through quality products and on-time delivery.

    ETS has a 600-ton and a 800-ton with a feeder/straightener capable of running 52″ wide stock and dies 156″ long

Since starting at ETS in 1996, Ken has worked as a Die Maker, Shop Foreman, Design Manager, Estimating Manager, and has been General Manager since 2014. Ken has over 30 years of experience in the tool and die trade.
